Yo soy originalmente de Costa Rica, América Central, donde obtuve mi grado de Doctor en Farmacia en 1992. Ahí fue donde conocí a mi esposa Annie y, luego de casarnos, empezamos a viajar por diferentes países, especialmente por más estudios y trabajo. Hemos estado en Buenos Aires (Argentina), Toronto (Canadá), y finalmente nos establecimos en Indianápolis. Tenemos tres hijos (Sofía, Leonardo y Clarissa).

     Fue aquí en Estados Unidos donde conocí sobre el proyecto del Modelo Creighton. Lo que me llamó la atención sobre este proyecto fue el hecho de que por primera vez ví un método estandarizado que no sólo ayuda a la mujer a entender su salud reproductiva sino también le da un apoyo médico profesional en caso de que lo necesite. Es un sistema que le da valor a la mujer y la trata con dignidad.

     Con la ayuda de Dios, y varias personas que me apoyaron durante el proceso, pude convertirme en un practicante del Modelo Creighton, el cual enseño tanto en Español como en Inglés.

     [I am originally from Costa Rica, Central America, where I obtained my Doctor in Pharmacy degree in 1992. In 1993, I married my wife Annie and we started traveling to different countries, especially for more studies and work. We have been to Buenos Aires (Argentina), Toronto (Canada), and finally settled in Indianapolis. We have three children (Sofía, Leonardo and Clarissa).

     It was here in the United States that I learned about Creighton Model. What struck me about this system was the fact that for the first time I saw a standardized method that not only helps women understand their reproductive health but also gives them professional medical support should they need it. It is a system that gives value and treats them with dignity.  With the help of God, and several people who supported me during the process, I was able to become a practitioner of the Creighton Model, which I teach in both Spanish and English. ]
